INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR AND BY PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES -

DON'T PITY YOUR CHILD

September 08 2026

Synopsis

The film is about Timur, a boy with cerebral palsy who achieves a lot in sports: wrestling, bocce, equestrian sports. He achieves it thanks to his inner core, and of course, thanks to the perseverance of his mother. For mother Tahmina, this is the goal of her whole life - to try to create conditions for her son for his development and self-realization. Timur competes in competitions and receives prizes, despite an incurable disease that periodically rolls back all his inner achievements. But mom helps Timur get up again and again and "go into battle.

Director Ruben Kazaryan
