MILOŠ JAČIMOVIĆ - jury member of the seventeenth Belgrade International Film Festival for and by people with disabilities

Milos Jacimovic is a Serbian cinematographer based in New York City, working across narrative film, creative documentary, and commercials.

His recent work includes My Late Summer (2024), directed by Academy Award winner Danis Tanović, which opened the Sarajevo Film Festival. He also shot The Uncle (2022), which received a Jury Special Award at Karlovy Vary, and Oasis (2020), winner of the Europa Cinemas Label at the Venice Film Festival and Serbia’s Oscar submission.

Milos began his feature career with Tilva Roš (2010), which premiered in Locarno and won the Grand Prix at Sarajevo. His long collaboration with director Ivan Ikić includes Barbarians (2014) and Oasis (2020).

Alongside his film work, Milos regularly shoots commercials and enjoys mentoring young filmmakers. He studied cinematography at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and has been a mentor at the Berlinale Talent Campus in Sarajevo.

Awards 

2022 - Best Cinematography (feature narrative, minority co-production) awarded by the Serbian Association of Cinematographers. For the feature film “The Uncle”.

2021 - Best Cinematography (feature narrative) awarded by the Serbian Association of Cinematographers. For the feature film “Oasis”.

2019 – Best Cinematography award (feature narrative) SEE Film Festival, Los Angeles. For the feature film "Borders, Raindrops".

2011 – City of Belgrade annual award for motion picture contribution. For cinematography of feature film "Tilva Rosh".

2008 – Special jury prize for cinematography at International Cinematography Film Festival Manaki Brothers Skopje, Macedonia. For short fiction film "Nylon Dressed Ground".

Milica Tomović (1986 SFR Yugoslavia) graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 2011 with the omnibus film "October", which she made together with her classmates. The film was screened at festivals in Cottbus, Trieste, Sofia Film Meetings, Isola Cinema and others.

Jelena Maksimović is a Serbian director, film editor and lecturer.

She completed her master's studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and since 2015 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.
