Thanks to collaboration between Hendi center “Koloseum” and Film street, documentary film about the greatest rock n roll writer “A.K.A. Doc Pomus” was shown on 7th of September 2013 in Zvezdara park Belgrade. The film “A.K.A. Doc Pomus”, which has won a award for the best direction at BOSIFEST 2013, was shown on the Filmstreet within the surprise projection.
Director of the festival, Darko Ivić gave thanks to the Film street team, who has recognized the quality and put the awarded film in their program and in that way also supported BOSIFEST, so as persons with disabilities. After the film projection, the audience had a chance to get a catalogue of the Festival, where you can find all the information regarding Festival and the films which were being shown on BOSIFEST 2013. At the film projection there also was Milan Tavčar from the Film street team.
Cold evening of the first weekend in September was, at no time, distraction for the audience to watch with enjoyment the film of the greatest rock n roll writer. Miraculuosly destiny of Doc Pomus, who has written more than a thous and songs in cluding „Save the last dance for me“ and „Viva Las Vegas“, in the athmosphere under the opensky of Zvezdara, got its magical glow.

BOSIFEST 2026 – Seventeenth Belgrade International Film Festival of Persons with Disabilities Yugoslav Cinematheque (Uzun Mirkova 1)

Before you is the seventeenth edition of BOSIFEST, a festival that has long since ceased to be a cultural event and became a beacon of inclusion in our society.
Every year, we prove over and over again that barriers exist only in our minds, never in our potential.
Milica Tomović (1986 SFR Yugoslavia) graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 2011 with the omnibus film "October", which she made together with her classmates. The film was screened at festivals in Cottbus, Trieste, Sofia Film Meetings, Isola Cinema and others.
Milos Jacimovic is a Serbian cinematographer based in New York City, working across narrative film, creative documentary, and commercials.
Jelena Maksimović is a Serbian director, film editor and lecturer.
She completed her master's studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and since 2015 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.
