Program title: Did you know about accessibility in culture?
The Institute for the Study of Cultural Development (ZAPROKUL) is a national cultural institution that has been continuously engaged in scientific, developmental and applied research, preparation of studies and analyzes in the field of sociology of culture and cultural policy for 55 years.
During 2021 and 2022, the Institute conducted a survey on different dimensions of accessibility of museums and galleries in Serbia, based on which it will prepare the following educational program within BOSIFEST:
- Screening of a short documentary "Culture of Accessibility", lasting 12 minutes, on the cultural participation of people with disabilities. The author of the film is Tamara Perić, employed at the Institute. The film is an accompanying part of the research of the same name. After the screening, there will be a conversation with the participants in the film and research.
- Pub quiz on accessibility in culture. Entertainment-educational program through the competition of the festival audience, divided into several competition teams, through short answers to 40 questions on the topic of accessibility in the cultural sector
- Presentation of the results of the research "Accessibility culture: research on the accessibility of museums and galleries in the Republic of Serbia". The results will be presented by the authors of the study, Mariana Milankov, Bogdana Opačić and Bojana Subašić.
