The authors of the films that were guests of the 8th Belgrade International Film Festival of Persons with Disabilities -BOSIFEST say that they bare beautiful memories from the festival and from Belgrade.

Grand prix at the 8th BOSIFEST won the French documentary "Arise and Walk" by Matthieu Firmin. The best director award was won by "Daniel" by Anastasia Dabrowska (Poland), and for the best scenario "Listen to Silence" by Mariam Chachia (Georgia). Special prizes were given to the films "In Another World" by Anna Bedynska (Poland), "Two Worlds" by Maciej Adamek (Poland) and Yonatan Nir and Enosh Casell's "My Brother Hero" (Israel).

Nino Doliashvili, assistant director of the movie "Listen to Silence" by Mariam Chachia, claims that Serbia should be proud about having a festival such as BOSIFEST.

- BOSIFEST is truly a great festival with a wonderful atmosphere. I enjoyed not only the festival in Belgrade but also in Belgrade. I think it's very good for Serbia to have this kind of festival. I am pleased that the film from Georgia, in which I took part, won the award for the best scenario. I would take the opportunity to praise everyone from the organization of the festival because they made my stay in Serbia extremely pleasant. I especially liked the film "Arise and Walk". I think he deserves the Grand prix. It's a great movie, a shocking and beautiful story told in a fantastic way - Nina said.

Poland director of the film "Daniel" Anstazija Dabrowska claims that BOSIFEST’s highest quality is a large number of audiences.

- I am still impressed by how many audiences came to such a documentary film festival. There can not be seen everywhere so many young people who want to see documentaries about people with disabilities - Dabrowska says.

She said that she was particularly impressed with the beauty of Belgrade.

- Belgrade is a fantastic city and has many nice things. I did not like you having such a huge traffic jar, but it must be so in every big city. I did not know that Belgrade is such a big city. I especially liked Zemun where I walked by the river - added Dabrowska.

Director of the film "In Another World" Anna Bedynska stated that BOSIFEST is a great opportunity for young people to become familiar with the problems of people with disabilities.

- It's great that many students and many teenagers come to the festival. Tomorrow, these young people may be able to better understand the situations in which the characters of the movies are shown. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to personally meet Matthieu Firmin, who received Grand prix for "Arise and Walk". The biggest advantage of each festival is that the audience can get to know the authors of the films, but also the authors can interconnect themselves - concluded Bedynska.

At this year's BOSIFEST, 18 films are displayed at the choice of the prominent domestic documentary Goran Radovanovic, 10 in the competitive and 8 in the non-competitive part of the program. The members of the jury of the festival were: Radoslav Zelenović, director of the European Film Festival Palic, Predrag Gaga Antonijević, celebrated director and Anica Dobra, famous Serbian actress.
